Considering the upcoming retirement of Sergei Tretyakov, we organize a workshop event at Aalto University, Finland. This event will take place on August 27-28. The workshop will feature a two-day scientific program, with talks highlighting participants' recent scientific findings. Additionally, there will be multiple social events each day, fostering a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.
Workshop venue
The workshop venue is Otakaari 1 building at Aalto University campus in Otaniemi, Espoo. The campus is about 9 km from Helsinki city center and 27 km from Helsinki Airport, with good connections using public transportation.

How to arrive to the registration desk from Helsinki Airport
By public transportation: Take the "I" train that is going to Helsinki, and get off at Huopalahti station, and then take tram 15 (Keilaniemi direction) just from outside the train station and get off at "Aalto University" station. A single ticket (covering zones BC) should be purchased before boarding the train from HSL app or from ticket machine at the station, and it is valid for all the public transport in metropolitan area (zones B and C) during 80 minutes. Note that in order to travel from Otaniemi to Helsinki center you will need a ticket for zones A and B.
By taxi: The taxi stand is outside of the main entrance of the arrival hall. The taxi cost to Otaniemi campus is approximately 55€. The trip takes about 30 mins.
How to arrive to the registration desk from Helsinki
Take the metro (line M1 to Kivenlahti or line M2 to Tapiola) from the closest metro station. Please be aware that the central metro station Rautatientori will be closed at the time of the workshop, the Kamppi metro station is the closest station to Helsinki city center. Get off at the metro stop "Aalto University" (exit A). A single or day ticket should be purchased from the HSL app or from the ticket machine at the metro station. The ticket should cover AB zone, and it is valid for all the public transportation in Helsinki and Espoo.
